Eemits Communications Donates to Local Charity: The Moses Project

This Christmas, it was decided that instead of doing a staff Secret Santa, the staff at Eemits would make cash and food donations to a local charity that we believe to be extremely important.
The Moses Project is a charity which provides guidance, mentoring and support to hundreds of adult males with past and current addictions to drugs and alcohol in the Stockton-on-Tees area. Assistance is provided daily in areas such as housing and benefits, introduction to positive lifestyles, team-building events, and group days out. The goal of the charity is to help these men re-build their lives and become re-engaged into society.
Every Christmas Day The Moses Project provides a full turkey dinner to over 150 people. Unfortunately, as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic this can not go ahead this year. Instead, The Moses Project set the goal of providing 250 Christmas hampers to families in need.
Donations were made by the Eemits team including food and cash donations totalling £70. To support the charity further, owners of the business, Craig and Michelle, agreed to double to donations made by the staff and then rounded the total up to £200!
We hope that these donations will help to support The Moses Project and help to make the lives a little brighter for those less fortunate and in need of our support.
The team at Eemits Communications believes strongly in supporting local charities and will continue to do so in years to come.
