Do your Workers Wear Ear Plugs and Ear Defenders for Hearing Protection?
If they do, How do they Communicate Face to Face and Adhere to Social Distancing within the Workplace?
A new problem that has arisen in many organisations is how to effectively communicate face to face in a high ambient noise environment whilst adhering to the new social distancing guidelines. It’s almost impossible to achieve using traditional ear plugs and ear muffs and can lead workers to inadvertently breach newly implemented Health and Safety procedures and potentially putting themselves at risk.
The problem can be overcome by providing workers a communication headset that integrates a communication technology, such as a two way radio or mobile phone, with an ear muff. In addition, the ear muff can also feature situational awareness so that employees can also hear their surroundings whilst protecting their hearing at the same time. A communication headset will not only help protect employees but it will also improve the productivity and efficiency within your organisation.
