Teesside Leisure Company Renews Eemits Managed Service Contract

Eemits Communications is delighted to be continuing its partnership with a local entertainment and leisure facility - after the venue, based in Teesside, renewed their Managed Service contract for a further 60 months.
Boasting facilities like a swimming pool, gym, ice rink, and a theatre - the Teesside-based venue has been using a two-way radio service from Eemits for quite some time, with handheld devices helping to boost worker safety and efficiency across the site.
And with the customer already on a Managed Service contract, they were able to benefit from having access to the latest technology (in the form of adding four new Hytera radios to their device fleet).
Here's a quick overview of what the customer has as part of their Eemits Managed Service.
Hardware - Hytera HP605 Handheld Two-Way Radios
To support two-way communication across the duration of the contract, the customer is using 19 Hytera HP605 two-way radio devices to boost worker safety and efficiency. The Hytera HP605 forms part of Hytera's H-Series of radios, and is a market-leading product with extended coverage capabilities and essential features.

- Long battery life of over 20 hours for full shift operation
- Rugged and durable to MIL-STD-810 G standard and IP67 rated (for protection against water ingress and dust exposure)
- Industry-leading antenna sensitivity giving enhanced coverage as standard for clear audio in weaker signal areas.
To go alongside the 19 HP605s, the customer also has three multi-unit chargers, so six devices can be charged at once, in one bank.
Annual Maintenance included
Along with hiring radios on a long-term basis, the facility also receives an annual maintenance check, where an Eemits engineer ensures all manufacturer equipment is performing to the expect standard, and that coverage is uninterrupted.
