UK's Largest Fertiliser Manufacturer Renews Radio Contract with Eemits

Eemits Communications is delighted to announce that the UK's largest fertiliser manufactuer has renewed its two-way radio contract, with a comprehensive radio system in place across their Billingham site, and other locations in the area.
The contract renewal signifies and strengthes the existing partnership between the end user and Eemits - with the latter in particular looking forward to supporting such an important business in the area with mission-critical two-way communication.
Capacity Max for ultimate coverage
To achieve crystal clear coverage at their Billingham, Portrack, and North Tees location, the fertiliser manufacturer utlises our TRBOCALL Capacity Max solution. This is a system that works as a wide area network, supporting up to 3,000 users per site - and is monitored remotely, so any upgrades, fixes or tweaks are made without the need to visit site. This helps the end user to save time and money.
Feature rich solution
With the use of digital Motorola ATEX radios, the end user not only has the right devices for dangerous environments, but they also have access to a range of mission critical safety features. This includes:
- Lone Worker - a welfare check feature that allows dispatch users to check on lone workers, regardless of their on-site location)
- Panic Alarm - the feature sends an emergency alarm notification to a dispatch center along with GPS or Indoor coordinates of the radio unit when the dedicated panic alarm on the radio is pressed. This makes an emergency response fast and effective.
- Man Down - the feature sends an emergency alarm notification to a dispatch center along with GPS or Indoor coordinates of the radio unit when the integrated accelerometer in the radio senses that the user has fallen or has not moved for a set period of time.
- GPS tracking - the GPS tracking module gives location-based functionalities including: GPS and/or GLONASS location, speed, and direction of radio users
- Geofencing - this lets the dispatcher limit the movement of radio users. The dispatcher can add regions on the map and make rules for entering or leaving a region.
